As an experienced retired labor and delivery nurse, I provide compassionate and knowledgeable support during your birthing journey. My training as a DONA doula ensures that you receive the best care tailored to your needs.
I am also a certified Body Ready Method pro. This means I have a deep understanding of how to help you prepare for your desired birth. I can help you to address and minimize pregnancy related aches and pains. I can support you in experiencing a smooth transition into recovery and postpartum.
A Doula is for emotional and physical support, creating a calming environment to reduce anxiety and stress during labor. I also provide a variety of comfort measures to alleviate pain and discomfort. I will be an advocate for you to assist in navigating the healthcare environment. I will be a continuous presence throughout labor. I will help partners feel more involved and informed on how they can support you effectively.
